A few portrait practices, been doing them a bit lately and a lazy and very quick sketch done at work, strange tho based on know one looks very familiar.

An Art Project

I have always envied all of the amazing artists out there especially those working in fine-art. The reason is because I have always been stumped by the various individual styles, working commercially has forced a versatility in my work therefore allowing me limited chance to develop my own work. So I have began this project a series of work in my own style my own story my own emotions. This is a sample of the drawing for the first one more images soon hopefully.

Painty paint, paint, paint

I love sculptures especially those giant one that are so smooth and cavernous, I also love baroque light situations. Which I guess you could say is the inspiration to this painting.

Landscapes oh god!

Yes well I have never painted landscapes before but I thought it's about time, aside from the old finger paintings of tree's and hills from my childhood landscapes haven't really interested me that much. But in my attempts to be more versatile I thought I should give them a shot. I have done a fair few but these ones I don't totally hate so here they are.

More Studies

Currently working on a series of artworks, thus the lion head. It's a prelim sketch to the final work by the name of 'Incarnate' and another digital life study from reference. This one was a bit quicker only 2 and half hours.

Life Study, but not really!

Just a study painting of a figure done in Photoshop, I have never done something like this in Photoshop that's this detailed, usually I get over it in 5 minutes but this time I kept at it. So yer 5 hours, 100% Photoshop taken from photo-reference.

Going to L.A!

Little update of some random stuff, quick paintings of feelings. The little puppy one is kind of important to me I had a dream about it, there is a really intricate story behind this image. So when I woke i just threw it down nice and simple and raw, raw emotion.

Also a pic done for a friend having some relationship probs like we all do my answer "Get murderin!" lol. Oh and a snap from the races, oh yea in da moneys!

So Dark

New Chrysograph at work the subject was "It's Coming". Oh how dark and ominous, but then again when I think of what's coming it's hard not to imagine this.

The Place Where it all Ends

The Departure

So my last post was nice but unfortunately this little blog will be the only place you will see it. :(

Oh well at least I had a lot of fun making it. Although it would have been fun to finish it, but I guess these things happen. Sooo... here is what it will be for now. I included some process stuff also. It's just a simple text thing the girl will be re-imagined over the next few weeks. This an example of a complete departure from the original style which I kinda liked. It's unfortunate but I can't say Im not loving just making all of this stuff.

Open Day Yo!

Well here's an update for once, I actually have quite a bit to put up but I cant find any of it. Ha ha oh well here is something I literally put the pencil down on ten minutes ago. Open Day Poster for UWS this could get rejected and you might never see it except for on here ooh! exclusive hehe yeh right I wish!

Get Wasted

I made a book with the help of one of my best friends, for my other best friend. It was his 21st so we wanted to give him something special. Here are a couple drawings and sketches that i did which were put into it.

A Cover a day

I have been super busy lately currently doing covers at work which are a combination of photography and illustration. So I have been plugging away for the last 3 days and here are my covers, I wouldn't say that they are totally finished just a few little things need to be added and fixed up.
